T-Spirit the Poet presents, Some Things Must Be Heard: Open mic.

The Spitting & Politicking Series will feature artists, activists, and community organizers that are committed to bringing a message of hope, healing, truth, and power to the people. This Spoken Word & Soul vibe will stimulate your mind, activate your heart, and propel you into action. Poetry has always been a catalyst for personal and social change. This atmosphere will set the tone for the upcoming week.

Our 2nd series will feature Just Rich the lyricist, recording artist, photographer, blerd, and Dad with barista skills and experience with training Pokémon. He's the founder of Lyrical Therapy, a monthly open mic he hosts at UrbArts Gallery every First Friday Just Rich is often in demand for touring. We will also be featuring the vibrant and committed Aniya Betts who is a youth organizer, board member and senior ambassador with Young Voices With Action. She has been organizing since I was 15 in 2014. She is working towards revolutionizing the way we organize and how we use technology to do it. OHHHH and she is a young innovator and entrepreneur. NYROBEONKA LLC is the first of its kind in the tech industry.
