Establishing a Farmers' Market on the Northside of St. Louis addressing what has been a designated food desert. Our farmers' market seeks to create both an oasis and a blueprint that addresses the issues of concentrated poverty, food apartheid, and grave health disparities found within the African community. By providing fresh produce, activities for the family, programs for the youth and workshops around agriculture and nutrition weekly we are striving to build a market of healing, economic development and community building. Come out and support the African community in building spaces of self-empowerment and community strength!
