Juneteenth Celebration and Resource Fair

That's right we are hosting our 2nd Annual Juneteenth Celebration and Resource Fair on June 18th in Old North St. Louis. This year we are looking toward success! What that means for us is making sure we are capable of placing the community resources within arm’s reach of those who need it most. In the past, this day has been an overlooked opportunity to nurture and unify our communities and has the potential to be one of the largest celebrations to take place in St. Louis communities to come.

This year we’re gearing up to engage over 450 people in the Metro area! To do that we need you there! We are looking to collaborate with local organizations, and local small businesses to be able to provide the community with an arms-length reach to the resources that could change lives! We are working with Adjo Honsou, the owner of TRIBE228 which is a Hand-Made fashion brand that celebrates African culture, artistry and authenticity. Our ambition as TRIBE228 is to share African culture with all people of the diaspora through our elegant and colorful clothing, artistry, music and dances.

As we celebrate Juneteenth nationally this year and being culturally aware of the climate we are in this country, we are presenting a multi-cultural celebration to elicit unity, diversity and inclusion. This celebration will feature art, food, vendors, performances, storytelling, and Djs from both the Black and African communities. So get ready to learn about our culture and grow together this Juneteenth celebration.
