In this free workshop facilitated by local author, journalist, and poet Jacqui Germain, participants will be guided through an active experience using the artworks on display in "Terry Adkins: Resounding" to generate fresh pieces of creative writing. Paper and pencils will be provided. Space is limited; registration is required.

Jacqui Germain is a St. Louis-based poet and freelance writer who believes deeply in denim and pointy fingernails. She is currently a 2019 Artist Fellow with the Regional Arts Commission, in addition to serving as Poetry Editor for december magazine, contributing writer for theSTL.com, and Arts and Culture contributing writer for ALIVE Magazine. Germain has received fellowships from Callaloo Creative Writing Workshop, the Poetry Foundation’s Emerging Poets Incubator, Jack Jones Literary Arts. Germain is also author of When the Ghosts Come Ashore, published in 2016 through Button Poetry/Exploding Pinecone Press.
