Description

Join police, pastors, and other members of the community as we break bread and participate in a notable conversation between Lynne M. Jackson, great-great-granddaughter of Dred Scott and founder and president of the Dred and Harriet Scott Foundation and Ken Morris Jr, both the great-great-great-grandson of Frederick Douglass and great-great-grandson of Booker T. Washington, and the co-founder of the Frederick Douglas Family Initiatives as we look at the economics of building a stronger, safer, and inclusive St. Louis.

Enjoy a morning with like-minded members of the community for that will help send St. Louis area student leaders to the St. Louis based 2020 National Youth Summit on Education, Justice, and Leadership held this year in Montgomery, Alabama. Help us prepare the groundwork for developing their academic pursuits and strengthening their leadership skills while moving our community forward with lessons learned from this breakfast with history.

Moderated by Maxine Clark, Founder of Build-A-Bear Workshop and CEO of the Clark|Fox Family Foundation
