A red carpet experience for advocates to unite.
To celebrate youth leadership.
To uplift African American literacy.

Books N Bros is all about empowering boys, promoting literacy, and bringing awareness to African American literature via a subscription based youth led program.

After reaching so many boys so fast, (300 internationally!) we've realized that the high demand comes from boys of single parent households, low income families, and/or residents that lack access to resources. This demand soon inspired the birth of 501c3, Chub Cares Adopt A Bro.

In memory of Sidney's late uncle, Anthony 'Chub' Caldwell, we have created the Chub Cares: Adopt A Bro initiative. When Chub was a young boy, he loved to learn but wasn't allowed the education he deserved. Instead of an instructor taking the time to understand how Chub learned, he was deemed to be a special needs student but later tested to actually be gifted. Unfortunately, Chub is not here on earth but we chose his birthday, June 30th to celebrate in his memory.

Instances like what Chub experienced has happened too much in the educational system and Books N Bros wants to be an asset to the reading experience for boys. To change their future. Their trajectory. Reading opens the perspective of life and there's so much of the world we'd like young boys to reach.

We invite you to celebrate black excellence in literacy with us and be apart of the change!
