The CrookedRoom Conference is THE annual event committed to centering the experiences of Black Girls and Womxn navigating the systemically crooked structures of institutional spaces.  The second installment of #CRC will be held on Saturday June 9, 2018 from 8:30am-4:30pm at BJC @ the Commons, (4249 Clayton Ave. St. Louis, MO 63110). This conference is free of charge to guests; and registered attendees are invited to partake in a continental breakfast and midday lunch. While last year’s conference—hosted by the University of Missouri St. Louis—focused specifically on the plight of Black Girls and Womxn in education, this year’s conference has expanded to include Healthcare, Religion/Spirituality, and Sexuality.
