About the Organizers:
Action St. Louis was founded in 2014 and in 2016, launched its year-round civic engagement campaign, #WokeVoterSTL. Each election cycle, we target Black and millennial voters around issues that are important to our communities. We have focused on local races and propositions that have a significant impact on the material conditions of the Black community in St. Louis. For the August 2018 primary race, we launched a successful campaign targeting voters for the St.Louis County Prosecutor Race. We were able to register 300 new voters and touch 6000 doors ahead of election day. We believe that Black organizations are key to increasing Black voter turnout and building the progressive political power necessary to effectively transform our communities.
Ono celebrations began as a small part of a major event series in Saint Louis Missouri. His team has worked together since 2013 to provide some of the largest and most consistent networking mixers and professional gatherings in Saint Louis. Since 2013 they have been able to reach an average of 600 attendees at every event.
The Action council along with Ono celebrations look forward to hosting you Sunday, October 28th.
